What is the Pre-Dental Society?

ASU Pre-Dental Society is a student-led organization that is dedicated to helping our members succeed on their pre-dental journey! We hold meetings and volunteering events throughout the year in order to get students connected with dentists and current dental students as well as involved in the community.

This pre-professional organization is dedicated to bringing together students interested in the profession of dentistry and exposing them to the many aspects of the career. We are able to accomplish these goals through presentations from guest speakers from various areas of dentistry, dental-related volunteer opportunities such as oral health awareness in local elementary schools, and occasional trips to dental schools. In addition, the organization offers its members assistance in gaining admittance into dental school through presentations of the dental application process and inviting admissions personal from various schools to ASU to speak. The Pre-Dental Society at ASU offers unique opportunities to network with students with similar interests and career goals. As a group, the organization hosts a variety of socials during the year and getting to know one’s fellow pre-dental peers is highly encouraged.
